Tanner I love you

Lately Tanner has wanted to stay up late + watch the NBA Finals. He has snuck out of bed a few times + gotten in trouble. He's a mischievous little guy lately. The only way he will cuddle with me is if we are watching basketball. If I can get cuddles then I will watch anything with this cute face!

Basketball

Basketball. That word is spoken in our home more than any other word! It's all they think about during the day. When they lay down to go to bed at night, we replay the different moments of shooting that they had that day. I love it. I love that they are at the age where they want to practice, and they want to improve. Carter is on a competitive team right now, and they play teams that are a few grades older than them. It's hard to watch him lose, and get frustrated at times. I keep telling him to just wait, your time to be the biggest one will come soon, very soon. This is what our driveway looks like each night. A stream of boys all wanting to dunk it on our hoop. TJ couldn't be more proud, and neither could I.

Thanksgiving

we were lucky enough to have two Thanksgiving dinners this year. 
we split our time first at the Davis house, and then with the Cartwright family. 
i feel so lucky to be able to spend my days, especially the special days,
with these sweet faces.

Basketball

my boys have an obsession.  all they think about is basketball.
i love it, and tj loves it even more than me.  these boys have so much 
fun being on the same team.  and i have so much fun watching them dominate.  
they would both score around 15-20 points per game, sometimes a few more.
fun, fun, fun.  love them.

here's to many, many more years of basketball.  :)
